There is a constant demand for funds. It costs about £25 a month to cover the basic needs of one student. Extras such as medical costs can easily ramp up. The bill for hospital attendance is never less than £100 and all the students medical needs are paid for by the school. Many students have to stay at the academy over the holidays so that they can be assured of safety, food and medical care. Any gift whether regular, one off, large or small will be greatly appreciated and could be life changing for the student.
