Final day - 102 miles completed!

Tomo Day 1 walk

Day 5 got off to a good start by being dry. I had slept well and was ready to start walking at 6.20. A fairly straightforward day’s walking followed through farmland, green lanes, pastures and meadows including the odd steep climb. I met my son Joe, partner Alys and my granddaughter Mabel at Cold Ashton and it was great to see them. They brought me a huge packed lunch which I’m still trying to finish! The rest of the walk was downhill past Lansdown Golf Club and Bath Racecourse finishing by the west door of the Abbey.

With the gift aid you have reached and passed your target of £2,000. Well done!
