Coombe Pafford School are heading back to Imprezza

March 2026 events

A group of eight Combe Pafford Sixth Form students and three staff will fly to Nairobi on Friday 13th March before travelling on to Imprezza Academy.

We will spend four days at the school working on practical projects. During last year’s visit, the team painted all of the classrooms, the staff room and office, leaving these spaces brighter, cleaner and more welcoming for students and staff.

This year, we will focus on the boys’ dormitory. Last year the students demonstrated how heavy rainfall can flood the dorm due to uncovered windows. We plan to install window covers to protect the boys and their belongings during the rains. We also plan to do some more painting around the school.

The students are busy fundraising and collecting donations to take with them. Extra luggage space will be filled with essential items to support the students at Imprezza and the wider community. They are seeking donations of teenage clothing and footwear, underwear for boys and girls, baseball caps, deflated footballs, and sanitary and hygiene products.

Following their time at the school we will visit the Maasai Mara reserve, Lake Naivasha, and Nakuru National Park. We hope to spot the “Big Five” and gain a deeper appreciation of Kenyan culture through visits to a Maasai village and other local communities.

This promises to be a memorable and meaningful experience—one that will not only support the development of Imprezza Academy but also broaden the horizons of the Combe Pafford students as global citizens.
