Operation Imprezza
We support Imprezza Academy, a secondary school in Busia County, Western Kenya. The school offers security and free, life changing education to children especially orphans, the very poor and those at risk.
Over 2,500 students have benefitted from Imprezza since Catherine Omanyo set it up in 2001. Over 600 have gone on to college. About 200 have graduated from university. 7 have been awarded Masters. Over 1000 have gone into work or set up a business. Even more importantly Imprezza exists so that all its students leave with a feeling of attainment, fulfilment and confidence to take their place in the world.

Support Tomo and friends walking the 23 mile Abbots Way on May 17.
Last year Tomo raised over £2,000 for Imprezza on his 102 mile walk. In May he plans to better that. With the help of friends, Tomo will walk the 23 miles Abbot's Way on Dartmoor in 1 day. Starting at Buckfast Abbey and finishing at the ruins of Tavistock Abbey. Lets see if they can raise £3000 for Imprezza! You are welcome to join him for all or part of the walk. We will need people to support the walk with a couple of refueling stations. UPDATE - As of April 5th it looks like Tomo may have another 6 people joining him. Perhaps you would enjoy the challenge too?

Our key funding need today
There is a constant demand for funds. It costs about £25 a month to cover the basic needs of one student. Extras such as medical costs can easily ramp up. The bill for hospital attendance is never less than £100 and all the students medical needs are paid for by the school. Many students have to stay at the academy over the holidays so that they can be assured of safety, food and medical care.
Any gift whether regular, one off, large or small will be greatly appreciated and could be life changing for the students
