Former students
Many of the students who have left Imprezza demonstrate the significance of the school. There is no substitute for endorsement than proof that it works.
When I visited Imprezza, Kenya in January 2024 I heard many stories of students who have achieved a place in society and personal self-worth because of their time at Imprezza. I spoke to the present students and the children to whom I spoke aspired of becoming teachers, doctors, pilots and nurses. There hopes are not unfounded because I heard about
alumni who are now teachers, newscasters, journalists, mechanics, nurses, doctors and carers and owe their education and self confidence to the school.

A few examples of these success stories include:-
One of the poor students of Imprezza has, this year, after 11 years of training ordained as a priest.
As a graduate of Imprezza Joseph is now a politician. He came from a very poor background but in 2022 ran for office and is now a member of the county assembly office.
Fransisca Achieno. Graduated as a teacher in chemistry and biology and plans to return to Imprezza as a teacher!
While in Kenya I spoke to Esther. I needed her professional help because she is now a bank manager in the Co-op bank of Kenya. She started off her childhood as a street child but was able to be placed at Imprezza and is eternally grateful.

Nelson was a street child. He was “picked up” by Kenyan police and taken to a widowed lady who operates an open house. The Kenyan authorities have a love /hate relationship with her. They do not approve of the house, but they send her children. I did visit this house.
Nelsons mother had just abandoned Nelson. The widow looked after Nelson and brought him back to health and then contacted Imprezza because she felt he had potential. He graduated from Imprezza as a quiet, loyal hardworking adult and he is now a highly functioning engineer.
Brian Okanga one of the academy’s students passed out in the top ten in the country in 2023. He is now studying at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University.
